"Slot Stools" are knock-down, flat-pack seats that can be both easily assembled and disassembled, using only four components: tubular steel legs, tapered walnut dowels, parachute rope and riveted leather.
The design of this stool was an exploration into 'tool-less furniture', requiring no hardware or instructions to be assembled. The design intent was to create a form that is both intuitive and aesthetically pleasing, and offer an alternative to the DIY furniture market.
