This Air Max 1 "The Bay" captures the essence of an artists' style, blending eclectic materials in unexpected ways. Plaid patterns and rugged workwear fabrics coexist alongside bold fashion statements like fur, fedoras, and crocodile skin, resulting in a dynamic mix that reflects the Bay Area's influential artists.⁠ The graphics pay homage to the fedora hats and hip-hop poster designs synonymous with the Bay Area.

Celebrating the city of Los Angeles through a distinct take on workwear and its influence on hip hop and fashion. Built on purpose and grit, workwear speaks through durable fabrics and utilitarian details. From the pioneers of LA’s hip hop sound to center stage at the Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show, it remains a constant in how Southern California artists move, work, and express themselves.
